BRINGING A NEW PERSPECTIVE TO THE BOARD

Ann has been a small business owner for more than 17 years and understands budgets and fiscal responsibility. Her professional experience as an Attorney and Teacher will assist the Board in making well informed decisions. She has a passion for public service.

LISTENING WITH AN OPEN MIND

Ann will listen respectfully to our neighbors. She has worked in both mediation and arbitration. She believes in keeping an open mind and learning the facts about the issues. She looks for solutions without taxpayer funding.

WORKING FOR ALL OUR CITIES AND TOWNS

Ann believes one of the strengths of Dubuque County is our small cities and towns. She grew up in Asbury when the City had fewer than 500 residents. She and her husband, Peter Healey, live in Asbury now. Peter grew up in the County on a small family farm. The farm is still in the family and now loved by a fourth generation.

Stopped in to the Courthouse this morning and signed the claim for the John Deere 410L Backhoe... made right here in Dubuque by local folks. Your property tax dollars at work.

To all who have contacted me ... this is news to me as well. It is my hope that a meeting scheduled on this issue before the Board of Supervisors will have at least a two week notice.
